Iberia Brings Forward Launch of New “Premium Economy” Class in Latin America

Iberia has decided to move forward the launch of its new Premium Economy seating class on some flights between Spain and Latin America.

Bogota in May and Mexico City in June will become the first Latin American destinations where the intermediate seating class will be available, some five months ahead of the original schedule.

Passengers flying Iberia to or from New York and Chicago can book the new seats for travel as of 1 May. For Miami the service will begin in July, and for Boston in August. Before the summer season of 2018, Premium Economy seats will be available on all Iberia routes on which it operates Airbus A340/600s, A330s, to be followed in 2018 by the fleet of A350s.
