Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Stobart Air, has today announced that the airline will operate a service from Cork Airport to Cornwall Airport Newquay beginning 6 May for summer 2017.

Operating twice weekly on Wednesday and Saturday, fares from €34.99 one way including taxes and charges are available for booking on www.aerlingus.com.

The Cork to Cornwall Airport Newquay service brings to nine, the number of Aer Lingus Regional routes from Cork Airport in summer 2017.

Aer Lingus Regional expects to carry over 330,000 passengers through Cork Airport in 2017, up 7% on 2016.

Last year the airline launched flights to Southampton and also operates services to Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Rennes, France from Cork Airport.

Aer Lingus Regional has three aircraft based at Cork Airport.

Commenting today, Martin Saxton, Chief Commercial Officer, Stobart Air said that the airline is ‘pleased to expand its Cork services’:

Aer Lingus Regional currently flies up to 640 flights per week across its 26 routes throughout Ireland, the UK and France.
