Ryanair Launches Record East Midlands Summer 2017 Schedule (Up 4%)

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline, today (18 Oct) launched its biggest ever East Midlands summer schedule (2017), with 3 new routes to Budapest, Girona and Reus, which will deliver 2.5m customers p.a. and support 1,900* jobs at East Midlands Airport, as Ryanair grows its East Midlands traffic by 4% in 2017.

Ryanair’s East Midlands Summer 2017 schedule will see more frequencies to sun destinations, lower fares (as Ryanair passes on lower fuel costs), and an even better customer experience, as it rolls out year 3 of its “Always Getting Better” customer experience programme, and will deliver:

· 3 new routes to Budapest (3 weekly), Girona (2 weekly) & Reus (2 weekly)

· Extra flights to Menorca (3 weekly) & Malta (3 weekly)

· 37 routes in total

· 2.5m customers p.a. (+100,000)

· 1,900* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Ryanair will continue to connect East Midlands with popular sun destinations on low fare services including Alicante (3 daily), Malaga (2 daily) and Palma (2 daily), with better timings and lower fares, making Ryanair the ideal choice for UK customers.
