Arena Aviation Capital closes B777-200ER deal

On 29 March JP Lease Products & Services Co., Ltd. successfully closed the acquisition of two Boeing
B777-200ER aircraft from AerCap Ireland Limited on lease to KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The deal was
arranged, structured and will be managed by Arena Aviation Capital B.V., which also arranged and
structured the debt financing provided by Deutsche Bank.

“We are proud and pleased to have added this high profile investor to our growing client base. This
entry into the Japanese Operating Lease market signifies a milestone in our development as an
ambitious and serious lease manager. We are looking forward to explore the full potential brought by
this new cooperation and we are excited to have entered into the Japanese market”, says Patrick den
Elzen, Arena Managing Director.

“We see real growth of demand in Asia for the services we offer, combining a reputable and all round
experienced aircraft leasing team with a broad dedicated technical backbone. Our first deal with JP
Lease being the purchase of aircraft leased to our national carrier KLM is of course a cherry on the
cake”, added Erik Dahmen, Arena Marketing & Sales Director.

“I would like to congratulate Arena Aviation Capital for putting together this transaction and thank
their team for the quality relationship. We see these first two aircraft as just the beginning of a
longstanding relationship and a taste of what is to come. Further acquisitions are in the pipeline
already and we look forward to conclude these as well with Arena”, concluded JP Lease President and CEO Mr. Teiji Ishikawa.
