Europe’s only MSc in Aviation Finance launched today at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Avolon attended the launch of the new Masters Degree in Aviation Finance at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Avolon is an industry partner of the new degree and believes the course will help sustain Ireland’s position as the world’s largest centre for aviation finance and leasing.

The new course will develop student’s understanding of all aspects of aviation finance, with a specific focus on the practical features of global aviation markets. It is the only Masters Degree in Europe covering Aviation Finance and offers an unrivalled level of specialisation in leasing and airline industry developments, providing graduates with significant career opportunities.

Ireland is the global hub for aircraft leasing with half of the world’s aviation fleet managed on the island. Avolon is proud to support the new MSc in Aviation Finance, which will help support Ireland’s rapidly growing aircraft finance and leasing sector.

As part of Avolon’s commitment to the course, it will offer assistance with internships, scholarships, research projects and guest lecturers.
