AWAS announced today that it has delivered one new A320 passenger aircraft to long-time customer Aegean Airlines. This aircraft was previously ordered by the airline directly from the manufacturer and is part of a multiple aircraft Purchase and Leaseback transaction announced in early 2015 with AWAS.

Core to the AWAS business model is identifying airlines with strong future potential, and then developing a long-term relationship with them as they expand and succeed. AWAS’ partnership with Aegean is a perfect example of that concept.

AWAS has had a strong business relationship with Aegean Airlines for over 16 years, originally providing 737 Classics and then migrating them to modern A320 family aircraft.
