ALOHA AIR CARGO SELECTS AEI’s B737-300SF 9 PALLET CONVERSION

MIAMI, FL., -February 4, 2014 - Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that Aloha Air Cargo has selected AEI to convert a B737-300SF from passenger to freighter. The aircraft is a high gross weight B737-300 (MSN 27904) built in 1995 and is currently being modified at AEI’s Authorized Conversion Center, Commercial Jet Inc. in Miami Florida. Aloha Air Cargo’s B737-300SF passenger to freighter conversion will be completed in May of 2014.

The AEI B737-300SF is the only passenger to freighter conversion product that offers operators either eight full height 88” x 125” container positions or nine 88” x 125” pallet positions. This unique capability is achievable due to AEI’s Main Deck Cargo Door location which is approximately 40” further back than the competition. The additional pallet position increases AEI’s volumetric carrying capability which places the freighter in a class by itself.

Mr. Robert T. Convey, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AEI stated that “We thank Aloha Air Cargo along with their sister company Northern Air Cargo for being long time valued customers of AEI.” He goes on to say that, “Both airlines operate a fleet of AEI 737-200SF and 737-300SF freighters and continue to look to AEI for both growth and replacement freighters.”

AEI’s B737-300SF shall provide Aloha Air Cargo with a Main Deck capable of carrying multiple ULD’s including:
(8) 88”x125” Containers, P1 to P8 plus one 125”x88” pallet in P9 or
(9) 88”x125” Pallets, P1 to P9 or
(6) 96”x125” Pallets
