BOC Aviation Delivers First Of Six New Airbus A321ceo Aircraft To Finnair

BOC Aviation Limited (“BOC Aviation” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the delivery of the first of six new Airbus A321CEO aircraft to Finnish national carrier Finnair. The remaining five aircraft will be delivered by the end of 2017. All six aircraft placed are from the Company’s existing order book.

“Our relationship with Finnair dates back to 2001, and we are pleased to partner with them once again, to support their fleet and network expansion plans,” said Steven Townend, Chief Commercial Officer (Europe, Americas, Africa), BOC Aviation. “This lease placement demonstrates the increased demand we are seeing for larger capacity single-aisle aircraft, and our clear ability to provide comprehensive fleet solutions to our customers seeking fuel-efficient aircraft. We look forward to building on our long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship with Finnair,” added Mr. Townend.

“Finnair is undergoing a significant growth phase and plans to increase its passenger capacity by up to 10 percent annually over the next few years. These brand new A321s from BOC Aviation are a part of that growth, and will be used in our European traffic, contributing to our targets of offering a high-level customer experience on the connecting flights and growing our extensive network,” said Riku Aho, Vice President, Fleet Management, Finnair.
