VAS Aero Services to Acquire Airbus A330 Aircraft from LATAM Airlines Group

Boca Raton, FL, March 15, 2016 – VAS Aero Services, a global leader in aviation logistics and aftermarket services, announced it has entered into an exclusive purchase agreement with LATAM Airlines Group, the leading airline group in Latin America, acquiring four Airbus A330 aircraft and fourteen spare Pratt & Whitney engines being retired from LATAM’s wide-body fleet.

VAS will relocate the aircraft to its European aircraft teardown partner, Tarmac Aerosave, in Tarbes, France, while the 100-inch Pratt & Whitney engines will be positioned for redeployment within VAS’s extensive maintenance partner network, Hughes noted.
