Lufthansa Technik adapts one-stop component support for Russia and Eurasian Customs Union

Lufthansa Technik has adapted its well-established Total Component
Support TCS® one-stop component solution to customs regulations and
supply chain requirements in Russia and the Eurasian Customs Union.
This custom-tailored TCS® product for the region is provided through
Lufthansa Technik Vostok Services, the Moscow-based, wholly-owned
subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik.

“The valuable new features we have added to Lufthansa Technik’s
proven TCS® product offer solid benefits for our customers in the
region,” said Dmitri Zaitsev, Vice President Corporate Sales of
Lufthansa Technik in Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS. “Airlines in
Russia and the Eurasian Customs Union can utterly focus on their
operations when we deliver our state-of-the-art component pooling
services and a comprehensive supply chain management, which now
includes door-to-door logistics and customs operations.”

Lufthansa Technik Vostok Services operates a newly established
component pool located at Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport.
The pool is specially adapted to customs regulations and local market
requirements and provides immediate access to custom-cleared
material, reliable supply performance and 24/7 Russian/English
speaking AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support. At the same time,
customers benefit from Lufthansa Technik’s comprehensive in-house
component repair capabilities.

Total Component Support is the solution for operators that want
optimal component availability without the task of setting up and
maintaining their own spare parts inventories. Customers benefit from
a unique pooling concept: Lufthansa Technik stocks more than 100,000
components and guarantees 100 percent reliable delivery at a
pre-determined service level. Members of the Lufthansa Technik TCS®
pool also benefit from reductions in operating costs through
economies of scale.
