SIDERAL AIR CARGO ORDERS TWO MORE AEI B737-400SF 11 PALLET CONVERSIONS

MIAMI, FL., — March 4, 2014 — Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that Sideral Air Cargo has ordered two more AEI B737-400SF passenger to freighter conversions. The first aircraft is a high gross weight B737-400 (MSN 25377) and was built in 1995. Both aircraft will be modified at Commercial Jet Services state of the art facility located in Dothan Alabama starting in June 2014. This order brings Sideral Air Cargo’s freighter fleet to five, with one AEI B737-300SF and four AEI B737-400SF’s.

The backbone of the AEI B737-400SF conversion product is the precision built, all new Main Deck Cargo Door (MDCD) and surround skins, which, along with the primary kit, is 100% built in the United States of America. AEI’s attention to precision manufacturing and installation has resulted in an Airworthiness Directive (AD) free product for AEI’s 737-300/400 STC, a claim its competition cannot make. The all new Main Deck Cargo Door is perfectly situated 40” further back from the L1 door allowing the first of ten full height containers to be positioned forward of the MDCD against the light weight 9G barrier.

Mr. Robert T. Convey, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AEI stated that “Over the past several years AEI has worked tirelessly to bring the B737-400SF to market and thanks to our loyal customers like Sideral Air Cargo we now provide 75%+ of all 737-400 conversions worldwide.” He goes on to say that, “Sideral Air Cargo currently has the largest and most reliable 737 Classic fleet in Brazil and continues to deliver 98.9% on time performance to its valued customers.”

AEI’s B737-400SF shall provide Sideral Air Cargo with an Ancra CLS capable of carrying multiple ULD’s including:
 (10) 88”x125” AAA Containers/pallets, P1 to P10 or
 (8) 96”x125” pallets and

This unique flexibility has been designed by AEI to allow the operator to immediately adapt to multi- ple ULD configurations at a moment’s notice. When combined with proven reliability, the AEI Converted 737-400SF will allow Sideral Air Cargo to keep their aircraft where they belong “In the air, generating revenue”.
